Lesson 14 - The Sun
The Sun is the star at the center of the Solar System and is by far the most important source of energy for life on Earth. It is a nearly perfect spherical ball of hot plasma. Its diameter is about 109 times that of Earth, and it has a mass about 330,000 times that of Earth, and accounts for about 99.86% of the total mass of the Solar System. In this lesson, students will learn about the structure and formation of the Sun and the Solar System in a new and fun way. The Sun has granted an exclusive interview to the students of SRB Junior High and they are going to take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! They have prepared a list of interview questions and are ready to go!
